We’re pleased to invite you to Valley VOTE’s February meeting, which will be held ONLINE on Zoom. That’s a late change — we won’t be meeting in person at Galpin this month. We hope to be there in March.
Our topic on Monday is initiatives — the Repeal the Death Tax initiative to restore the ability of parents to transfer property to their kids without reassessment to market value, and the Our Neighborhood Voices initiative to block Sacramento laws such as SB9 and SB10, which are set to wreck single-family neighborhoods. We’re pleased to welcome John W. Heath, co-founder and past president of the non-profit United Homeowners Association, and one of the proponents of the Our Neighborhood Voices initiative. And I’ll have an update for you on the Repeal the Death Tax initiative from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.
